Final list of 105 importers from different countries approves for global carpet exhibition
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and the Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association have approved the final list of 105 importers from different countries who will be given the best hospitality package upon arrival in Pakistan from October 15 to participate in the global carpet exhibition in Lahore.
The committee comprising TDP officers Rao Raheel and Irfan Ahmed, chief organizer of the exhibition, Ijaz-ur-Rehman and others, gave final approval to 105 out of 160 applications of foreign buyers coming to Pakistan and it is decided that more will be done next year. Increased Pakistan's exports will be increased with the participation of more and more foreigners.
Chairman Carpet Association Mohammad Aslam Tahir, Vice Chairman Sheikh Aamir Saeed, Vice-Chairman of the Carpet Training Institute Pervaiz Haneef, Senior Central Leader Abdul Latif Malik, Senior Member Riaz Ahmed, Saeed Khan, Mohammad Akbar Malik were also present in the meeting. Association officials said that the global exhibition will promote the effective marketing and export of Pakistan's carpet industry globally.
